Scan of my Brain

Woohoo! Pictures of my brain!

I was part of a study at Stanford over the weekend, which I found out about from a coworker of mine. It was much fun: I just hung out in the MRI machine for about an hour, doing a couple of tests over that period.

You can find out about the Ph.D student, Silvia Bunge, who is conducting the study. You can also sign up for it, if there's still a need, and get pictures of your own brain.

Of course it got a little weird after I mentioned to the researcher that I have color-number synaesthesia. Something I didn't know about myself until, maybe, a few years ago. I only have colors for 1-9, but have some synaesthesia with letters/words.
